It would be nice to not have that here.
Personally, that's all I see on the nightly news; 95% or more of the stories are about the Corona virus.
One never hears the end of it.

Well, if it scares you, maybe you should avoid the site altogether. It doesn't scare me, it's more like how David Hasselhoff felt when OJ went for his Bronco ride. He was doing a pay per view concert and more people watched the Bronco ride than watch his concert; he lost his desire to make it as a musician in North America. You know the feeling, a foot fungus sort of irritation. As a treat:

Do you want to moderate it? It's almost tempting to accept. I would have to spend a lot of time scolding some people though. That stuff must give you a migraine. I seem to have riled a few people on the politics board, come to think of it. You may have even received a few reports.

To be clear, you would moderate the board, not the forum.

I guess I would have to make sure all the jokes were fairly clean as someone might get their face in a knot at the odd joke.
