Any fans of "Star Wars Episode III: - Revenge of the Sith"? How has it held up after 15 years? Still the best of the prequels even though it suffers from flaws like the previous two films. I'll give credit for Lucas to sticking to his guns when he said he would go dark for this film. At the time, I thought it would really be the end of the Star Wars franchise at the box office since Lucas completed all the stories he wanted to tell. Of course I really should have known better...... Maltin Movie Guide Review: Star Wars Episode III: - Revenge of the Sith - 3 out of 4 stars"The Star Wars saga comes full circle as Anakin Skywalker (Christensen), in a desperate attempt to protect his wife, Padme Amidala (Portman), succumbs to a persuasive Chancellor Palpatine and embraces the dark side of The Force. Long, uneven, but meticulously crafted entry in the six-part story has some of the same faults as its immediate predecessors, but delivers an emotional wallop as it brings the "prequel trilogy" to a conclusion. Yoda dominates every scene he's in--and gives the best performance in the film!"

Well yes I guess it is. I remember collecting the Burger King toys. Ah good times. Better times.

I remember going to see it at the theater with my family. I definitely don't enjoy it as much now, but I still like it overall, despite some issues I have with it.

The only decent Star Wars prequel. Anakin's fall and transformation into Darth Vader was genuinely quite brutal, not to mention tragic. The excessive amounts of CGI and effects were bothersome though.

I like this one, way more than the previous 2, but not one of my favourites of the series like certain fans have been clamouring. Anakin’s downfall is genuinely emotional and the lightsaber duels are great.

My most vivd memories of seeing it first time was the audible laughs in the audience twice when there shouldn't have been (Annakin writhing limbless after his battle in the lava, and the "Nooooo")
Seen it quite a few times since and it remains compellingly shit.

By far the best prequel. I remember my local cinema didnt got it until September, the reason given being that Lucasfilms was asking for too much money for it to be shown here, wich i always doubted. Anyway, had to go on a 3 hours drive to go see it on release day.

Unfortunately the rot set in with The Phantom Menace which Sith couldn't save. It was the best of the 3 prequels but that really isn't saying much but at least it wasn't as desperate, dreary or as depressing as The Rise of Skywalker.

This movie could probably be edited and drastically improved by just a couple of changes:
Jar Jar's lines were dubbed over by someone else The annoying kid was cut from the movie as much as possible

I remember thinking it was easily the best of the prequel films and really enjoyed it at the time it was released. I haven't rewatched it in quite a few years tho. It may be time to rewatch all the SW films soon.

I haven't seen it since the theatrical release. The prequels were a disaster for the most part.

Oh, you're right. Revenge is actually decent (better than the other prequels)
