On a scale of 1-10, how worried are you about getting it?
I'd say 2. I don't care if people don't wear masks, I don't care if they don't wear gloves, I don't care that much if there are 20 people around me. We've all been in crowds of hundreds of people, that we don't know where any of them came from, what kind of diseases they might've been carrying, that some of them themselves wouldn't even know they had, and nothing bad happened to us. Wash your hands, cover your mouth if you sneeze or cough, don't share drinks, etc., those who can actually get Clorox wipes, maybe use some of them on things like the gas pumps (ever stop to think how many people use one of those in a day?) so you and the next person who use them are safe, and I'm happy as a clam.

1 out of 10. What worries me are the changes implemented to society using Coronavirus as an excuse.

I am not worried about it overall. I am not trying to get it, but I am not all that concerned if I did get it. because playing the odds my chances of being okay are greatly in my favor (since I heard the real death rate could be as low as 0.xx% and is probably no more than around a 2% death rate). I don't obsess over masks/gloves etc. but some people, and a good portion of society, have a irrational fear of COVID-19 and are over-reacting like it's a major plague and it's not even close. imagine how bad society would get if there was a real threat from a virus if they are this paranoid about COVID-19 which only has a small chance to kill you. COVID-19 is more politics than a legitimate threat. hell, the threat from COVID-19 due to shutting down the country is far more damaging as there is like 36 million on unemployment and all of the small business that likely won't recover from this etc. but anyways, I just continue like I normally do... I wash my hands a fair amount in general throughout each day as in this regard my routine has not changed. p.s. hell, even if your old and your health is not optimal... it's still not a death sentence if you get it as, while I don't know the precise statistics off the top of my head when it comes to death rates of older people (say 70 something or older) who get it, I can't imagine it's more than 10% which means one would have about a 90%+ chance of living should they get it. so it's still not a major concern even here among those most at risk.
Yeah, and you notice it's the godless left promoting all of that BS as they want to control every little aspect of peoples lives. a bunch of snakes they are.
but like I always say...

As long as I keep doing my part in social distancing and going out if absolutely necessary..... 2.
I mean, I'm an introvert to begin with, so that won't be too difficult for me.
The amount of cases continues to increase. What they're not telling us is of those cases, probably just under half of them have resolved themselves.

4-5, I do what they say. We'll see what happens. I don't dwell on it.

6 Because I am looking after my mother, she is in the ideal category for it--I went out the other day for the first time in three months and it unsettled me a bit to see people wearing masks in line ups. Anxiety about permanent changes outside worries me more than the virus.

Perhaps my perception is being shaped by only seeing news about those who are severely ill or dying, but I'm more worried now that I was two months ago.

Two months ago it used to be around 5-6. Now it has fallen to 1.
I was more worried about my elderly relatives than about myself. But now it's beginning to look like the whole panic reaction was completely overblown. Those so-called experts were predicting millions of deaths in the US alone and 100.000s here in Germany where I live.
There is also too much manipulation going on with people trying to profit from the lockdown politically and economically.
In states like New York even suicides or victims of accidents are listed as Corona deaths if they've been positively tested for the virus.
There's a feeling that in some countries politicians are trying to test people's patience of how long they are willing to live with restrictions.
I just can't hear the expression "new normal" anymore. I don't want new normal. I want to return to the old normal. I'm sick of having to put on those annoying masks.

0 I have a resistence like you wouldn't believe..
However I am worried that if I do get it, I could maybe pass it along to a small youngin'. Ha, just kidding, I wouldn't go near a child if my life depended on it.

6, maybe 7. But that's because I have risk factors.

Yes I live with 2 people who are totally at risk if they get it. Makes me more cautious she's overly paranoid. Domino's pizza (Which I hate) commercials say the pizza is contact-less. But that isn't good enough for her because "virus-y hands still have to assemble the box the pizza goes in". We're supposed to have a get together on memorial day with people spread 6 feet apart on our lawn. They're bringing food and I'm allowed to have something under one condition - the wrappers are thrown away immediately and i zap the food in the microwave to kill the virus This woman is a germophobe. and her germaphobia makes no sense. She hand washes dishes but she washes the sink first. But yet we have 2 cats that don't use toilet paper and drag their fecal bacterial all over the house and she goes barefoot

Had it, got over it, wasn't impressed. I say it's barely a 1/10 chance I get it again, never really had the same sickness twice in my life.

Cool!
Meanwhile...how worried am I now? 3.5 (not quite 4, but just over 3).
It was revealed today that at one of the nursing homes in my hometown, there was a minor outbreak. 6 residents have been affected.
Speedy recovery to those involved.

"Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." - Benjamin Franklin This is not a pandemic, mslo79. This is a planned depopulation. If you're old or you have a chronic condition of some kind, the best advice I can give you is be ready to leave. I think you will understand what I mean. A lot of others won't. Prepare yourself. You know....spiritually. Make your peace. Isn't that what we're supposed to be doing anyway? Our stay here was never meant to be permanent, and the Second Death is the one to be avoided.
