reposting this since you mentioned allergies... sorry i missed before. i am touched by so many people trying to help. sinuses are BAD. I stopped using nasal sprays some times ago beause I was addicted to them and still struggle a bit with nasal pasage especially during spring. so yeah, my breathing is affected by that. i might try saline mist though thats a good idea, thanks. I can't stand nasal spray medicine. I'm always hacking for hours afterwards. The saline spray is a must.

I am happy to report my ear is Almost back to normal. Once again, thank you all for your help. it seems that it was caused by water in the ear and was solved by putting a few drops of alcohol-based water-drying ear drops into my hear, and tapping on the side of my head slightly. there is still some minor tickle when i lay down, but only occasionally and much less intense than before. i will have it checked by an ear doctor in 3 weeks when i am in europe where i can afford specialist medical care, but so far it looks like its on the mend. (knock on wood).
but for those 2-3 days its was driving me absolutely insane.

Good thing you found some relief and found out what was causing you this discomfort. I get water in the ear if I stick my head in the shower the wrong way rinsing my hair out, and pressurized water gets pushed into my ear. *knocking on wood* Here's to your continuing to feel better Nora.

I am going there for 5 weeks actually. Have a bunch of doctors lined up already. Pulmonary, Dentist, OBGY, Ear doctor, Cardio, Ortho, I am gonna go see them ALL and get ALL the things I need done while I am there. Then back here, hoping I can live without doctors for another 3-5 months before I go back to Europe. Its crazy that this is the financially more responsible thing for me to do, to fly to another continent and get treated there, but its the truth. I was supposed to go to Thailand for 5 months after that, but with all thats going on, I dont think I will go, for a while…

You must have many health issues. LOVE

LOVE no not really, i have just some hopefully minor issues, like a fallen out filling in my tooth or yearly obgy check up... but i am a bit of a hypochondriac who is very afraid of dying and cannot afford to go to doctors here at all so I go to the main ones like once a year when I am in Europe, to give me another year of hope for life ) - ear doctor - well we know why that is - pulmonary - I have been caughing a lot and it could be alergies OR it could be heart apparently... ortho- I want to make sure I am wearing the best shoes possible for my physical activities and have someone look at my hip that has an odd minor pain in it Sometimes (and I cant stop thinking about Sally Field playing CS Lewis’s wife Joe and just one day put of nowhere falling down in her kitchen to later discover she has ... hip cancer and like 5 months to live while still fairly young - only 45!!) . Prevention is everything

Prevention is everything I do the same thing, Nora. I have a lot of specialists, as I feel it's always better to be safe, and I'd rather catch something early than wait. My grandmother never went to the doctors until she felt things were really bad, and by that time, she ended up with cardiac disease and she had a stroke. I think she viewed it as a sign of strength that she held out. Personally I think she was stubborn.

I think she viewed it as a sign of strength that she held out. Personally I think she was stubborn. Same with my dad. Exactly the same. For me, its not just that I am overly sensitive toward my health, its also about living in the US where I dont feel comfortable with the medical care system. Its non transparent, inflated by insurance (and other) companies, incredibly expensive and with a lot of holes, exceptions, loopholes, and out of network/coverage exception. So if I Have to be sick here, I want to think I did everything I could to minimize the odds of that happening. If I have an accident or something like that, well maybe there was no way to prevent it. But I want to make sure I do my best for my overall health, to make sure I can stay out of the medical system for as long as I can. so I would rather visit a doctor preventively or lets say "early on", and have them tell me I am a hypochondriac and send me away, then wait too long/not go until its really bad. I love this country and enjoy living here, but the healthcare system here is so messed up and immoral, but unlike the police brutality, that most (normal) people can understand is bad, the healthcare system being literally a "luxury for the rich" is for some obscure reason adored by half of this country and tolerated by another 30%. Crazy. Once BLM has culminated/ achieved its primary goals, people should also rise up to the streets and demand a complete overhaul of healthcare in the US. I know for a lot of people its scary and they have been fed propaganda about this "being the cost of freedom" or that "you cannot get quality healthcare for less" but thats BS. I really hope I will live long enough to see this change happen here. First step should be at least TRANSPARENCY. Which other goods or services do you get without knowing beforehand how much you are going to pay. Yeah, none. Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Staying on the topic of health care, I love my health care here. I do have a deductible but once that's met, I have zero co-pay for any doctor appointment, I don't need any referral to any type of specialist (I can see anyone I want), there's no in or out of network, I have no cost for my prescriptions, I have no cost for medical devices, blood work, any type of test like MRI. No out of pocket cost to me. I have a terrific primary care doc who listens to me, and to be fair there's only one doc I sort of have an issue with. But for the most part, they explain everything they do, and why they're doing it. Once in a while you run into an over-zealous technician.
