Finally watched this last night. It takes itself a bit too seriously (so many rules!) and the ending wasn't entirely satisfying. However, this is compensated by a series of spectacular action scenes that kept my interest throughout and justified its 2 hour+ length. At this point, it seems Mr. Wick can't be killed by conventional weapons. 8/10

8/10 from me as well. The action scenes are excellent.

I think the series gets weaker as it moves forward overall. but only the first movie is among my favorite movies in general... 1)John Wick - 6.5-7/10 (within my Top 155 movies) (NOTE: in fact, this 1st movie improved for me on my 3rd viewing as on my first two viewings it was a 6-6.5/10) 2)John Wick 2 - 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up) 3)John Wick 3
still, collectively... the series is better than most action movies for sure and I kind of assume ill like the 4th movie to given I like the first three.
NOTE: I have seen the 1st movie three times, 2nd movie twice, 3rd movie once so far. I suspect ill probably re-watch all three movies before the year is finished or probably no later than sometime next year.
p.s. while a 6/10 is only a mild Thumbs Up for me... when I look at ALL movies I have seen only around 20% of them managed to get a 6/10 or higher (roughly 6-8% of everything I have seen (i.e. 155-189/2,300+) are good enough for me to call a favorite movie or thereabouts). so that still makes those 6/10's within the Top 20% or so of all movies I have seen. because like I always say, a movie is ultimately made or broke depending on whether I want to re-watch it from time-to-time or not as I feel that's a true test of a movie in a very basic sense as those people who watch a movie and are like "That's good/great etc" and then move onto the next movie and never return to it, to me, speaks volumes about what they really think of it (i.e. that it's pretty much forgettable).

Yea I really enjoyed it for the spectacle it was. The action sequences didn’t manage to get boring.

I liked it for the most part, but it gets boring after a little while.
That opening half-hour is so amazing, though.

It has greatly shot action. Better of the two sequels IMO.

The only John Wick movie I even like.
The first movie is just a moderately well done typical revenge movie. The second movie is just boring.
The 3rd movie is truly unique and becomes almost metaphysical. It no longer takes place in reality, but in some kind of beautiful blood soaked fever dream.
7/10

Great film, yet I still much prefer the first - John is far more fascinating as predator than prey.

I actually thought it didn't take itself serious enough (too many jokes thru out) . The 1st one is still my favorite but yeah, the sequels have some amazing action sequences that's for sure.

First one: 7.5 - as someone else said, I loved seeing him as the predator and not the prey. Second: 6 Third: 6
