Am I all alone that I am sick of comic book movies with a half-billion $ budgets? I do have to admit that I am a fan of the Walking Dead, yet I have only watched the show and never read the comic.

Well I'm starting to experience superhero fatigue, if that is what you meant. Wonder Woman is certainly exciting looking though.
As for budgets, I don't care how much the put into them, they usually always profit.

I am sick of these over-bloated budgets to have extreme CGI. We have got to the point that no one cares, and no one is impressed. "Oh so you just destroyed Earth? It looked fake to me"! EDIT: It just almost seems criminal to me to spend so much money on "meh" movies.

Like everyone else, I hate it when they invest $200M or more into a superhero movie that still sucks. But the genre as a whole, no.

No one is forcing you to go to them. This topic pops up, what, at least once a month? Every 2 weeks? I don't really care for mafia movies. They make them, I don't go. I don't particularly like most chick flicks so I avoid them. What's the point of whining? Grumble grumble grumble grumble. JUST DON'T GO. I am going to see Guardians if the Galexy 2. I will see Wonder Woman unless the reviews say it's as much of a mess as predicted. So far this year I have seen Silence, the YuGiOh movie, John Wick 2, Get Out, Cure for Wellness, Kong, Beauty & the Beast, Your Name, Colossal, & Free Fire. I plan on seeing GotG2, PotC5, WW, It Comes at Night, Rough Night, Despicable Me3, Spiderman, Valerian, Blade runner. Thor3, Justice League & SW. More as they attract my attention through trailers. But I'm not saying anyone needs to see them. I don't care what you are sick of. Watch whatever you want. I'll watch the stuff I want.

are you alone? no.
do I feel the same way? not really.
I do feel some fatigue, can you imagine there will at some point be a year with 3 Fox films, 3 Marvel films, and 3 DC films? that's 9 superhero film in a year, you can of course pick a side and only watch films from one studio, watch them all, pick and choose, or just not watch them. it will eventually suffer the issue I have with television series, you miss an episode or two, you catch it on the dvr or hulu a little later, and you're back to normal, next you're 10 episodes behind, you want to watch them.....but you don't, and at some point you haven't seen the past 2 seasons.

It wasn't my intention to make your panties retract into your ass. Take some of that movie money and get your meds refilled.

We're getting at least two that didn't bankrupt Antigua in the process. Atomic Blonde ($30M) and Wonder Woman which was said to have cost roughly $100M.

I'm getting there. But they keep releasing movies that i want to see. I love Guardians 1, so of course i'll see volume 2. And i'm intrigued by Wonder Woman. And curious about Justice League. And having seen all MCU movies i'll definitely not miss Infinity War next year. Maybe i'll skip just Spiderman this year. And i'm not so sure about Thor

I'm not sick of comic movies just yet. I will get sick if they keep making as many as they do every year.
Marvel and DC could do two a year each and that would be more than enough, but now Marvel's dipping into 3 a year. And that doesn't even include other studios (Sony and Fox) doing Marvel characters.
On the other hand I would like to see some of the independent comic book companies get their chance. I'd like to see a Hellboy 3, I want to see the planned Invincible and the Valiant comic book characters.
And speaking of independents there are some comics in that arena that I'd like to see get made into movies that are not superhero based. Kingsman wasn't super hero but was based on a comic.
As far as cost, I'm sick when ANY movie cost more than 100 mill to make. But it seems to be the norm nowadays. Its crazy, it turns out that CGI is the most expensive thing and its just a bunch a people sitting at computer screens. Why should that cost so much? You'd think it would be building the sets, but its cgi fx.
