This actor always has seemed to be one of those actors with no depth. He seemed almost monotone to me. Just something about him that seems one-dimensional and expressionless. I've always wondered how he could have had his own show. I'm sure he shows emotion, but he has always played basically the same character in everything he's done. I would say he has little to know acting range.
Anyone agree?

He did a tv movie where he and Robert Conrad were kidnappers. He was the crook with a conscience in that.
He's not a character actor, that's for sure. In the pilot movies for the Bionic Man he was more conflicted though. I recall he got upset when he helped some people and they saw his mechanical arm. I can't recall if the show delved into that again.

No, he's totally boring. And the expression on his face doesn't change when he's off camera, either. He always looks like he's in a bad mood.
The best thing about Lee Lee Majors was that lovely, stunning wife of his.

Let's give the man his due. He was reasonably good in The Big Valley, and passable on everything since.

Word on the street is that Jonathan Frakes passed Majors over for the role of Jeff Tracy in Thunderbirds (2004) because his acting range was too wooden to do the role justice.

The only movie I saw him in was Big Fat Liar and thought he had some funny moments.

His emotionless acting was perfect for the Bionic Man when you were a little kid back in the day.

His emotionless acting was perfect for the Bionic Man when you were a little kid back in the day. Yes, his robotic presence seemed just about right, although I think he tried too hard with the machismo image projection which ended up being detrimental to his career in the long run I'd say. He needed to be more relaxed with some subtle emotion seeping through. Too rigid and the bionic man was still largely human.
I though Patrick Duffy was far more appealing in The Man From Atlantis. Oscar Goldman was even more stiff. LOL That was just time and style of acting on that show.

He and Richard Anderson weren't supposed to be emo. Besides, tears would rust his bionic eye.
