in the series. For example Aliens being remake of Alien which came out before Aliens(which has been pointed out to me), and T 2 is almost like a remake. To a certain extent though. others?

'Never Say Never Again' was a remake of 'Thunderball.' Or at least a new adaptation of the same basic story.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters was pretty much a remake of 怪獣総進撃 with evil ecoterrorists replacing the evil Kilaaks.

Well it's a re-adaptation but Heaven Can Wait and Down to Earth(aside from a few twists) had the same plot as Here Comes Mr. Jordan. Heaven Can Wait was the name of the original play that they were all based on as I found out when I looked them up.
