He's looking good. Against South Atlantic League pitchers in South Atlantic League parks. They will bump him up soon but its a looooooooooooooooooooooooong way to the majors. And MLB organizations don't usually give a lot of breaks to 30 year old rookies

I read that SB Nation article too. A .246 A-ball hitter (whose average rose to that after a hot streak of a whopping 20 ABs) doesn't exactly prove any "haters" wrong. I like Tebow and I'd love it if he could manage to make a gamer of himself but it's really not going to happen.

There is zero chance he ever makes it to the majors. Zero. Jesus Christ himself won't even get him up to Triple A. He's a good guy blah blah blah but hitting professional pitching is probably the single hardest thing to do in sports. Ted Williams and Ty Cobb were probably the greatest ever at it and they still failed about 60% of the time.

It's only a matter of time before they have to take notice and promote him. how can anybody not root for this guy? seriously - he's the most likeable cat in the history of sports that everyone hates on.......... huge college football fan - and his pieces with ESPN were great. was in the Birds camp and was shocked he was cut and was hoping he's make at least 3rd string and make it due to the fact you could utilize him in other situations of the game.... this is a guy i'll always root for. screw the haters....... |
