As long it it has some crisp to it and the fat isn't rubbery. I chose 4 and 2.
Although I really like bacon, when I buy it I tend not to get to it until about a week before the use/freeze date.

I see it in the store, and I have had waffles with maple syrup touching my bacon... But maple infused bacon is too sweet. Maybe just me, and I love bacon.
