I did back in 2016. Nothing came out of it, and then, Netflix acquired the rights two years later but nothing official has been announced since then. It's a shame. The Narnia books are pretty good children's fantasy novels.

The Narnia books are pretty good children's fantasy novels. Yeah, I liked Prince Caspian a lot and thought Voyage of the Dawn Treader was alright. At least that one helped to jump-start Will Poulter's career. |

At least that one helped to jump-start Will Poulter's career. I loved Prince Caspian. I think I had a childish crush on him. There was an illustration in my book showing him outlined against the sunset, looking out over the sea at a ship. It was so evocative that it made me long for sea adventures. Pity about no 4th installment. Maybe Netflix will make a series....one can only hope. |

It's become quite common to announce remakes/sequels/reboots that don't end up happening*. In fact, a lot of the time, they don't announce that the project won't happen unless someone asks them directly.
*DODGEBALL and THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT immediately come to mind.
