CEO is an idiot, didn't want to be political to require them. What about for health and safety of customers during a pandemic . Or at least be honest you want to sell overpriced soda and popcorn.

Yes! Those are two movies I'm excited to see in a theater! Mega screen baby! Although TBH, I'm enjoying the drive-in more.

Customer safety should come first. Certainly well ahead of avoiding some sort of misguided controversy.

Then a) wear your own mask or b) don’t go to the theater.
No one is forcing you to go. If sitting in a dark room for two hours with social distancing measures in place frightens you that much, then stay home.
