Oh shit must I learn a new thing? I noticed the problem a few days ago, posting a pic on this site might create interest, and it might sell instead of being stone dead, it's a win-win situation, don't they get it!

In their continuing quest to make IMDb less useful, they've changed the way images display so that grabbing the URL of an image takes more effort. Used to be you just needed to right-click on an image to view the image in a way that made grabbing the URL a snap. Now you need to jump through a few hoops first. For Firefox, here's the process: Right-click on the image and select View Page Info. Next click on the Media tab. Then scroll down until you see the file listed as Image in the right column. Click on that line to verify it's the image you want. Copy the Location line. Now you can put in the image. Apparently this change was something the IMDb rolled out gradually. I tried out Catman's procedure above and it works like a charm in SeaMonkey 2.53. Not surprising as SeaMonkey is a Firefox cousin. I am bookmarking this thread for future reference!

FYI. I have Google Chrome installed as a backup browser and with that you can right-click on the image and select "Copy image address".
