Anyone love that director?. I don't know if I would say I love him, but I like Black Moon (1975) quite a bit. If you like weird sexual fairy tales you might like it too. I'm 100% comfortable recommending it. It's an experience more than anything.

I'm a fan, but he isn't one of my favorites.

I like (Les amants) (Le feu follet) My Dinner with Andre, and I think his documentary "Place de la Republique" is one of the best.

I've seen "The Lovers", which I liked, "Elevator to the Gallows", which I liked a lot, and "Murmur of the Heart", which i loved, even if the ending was jarring.
So, yeah, from what I have seen, I like Louis Malle a lot.
I forgot that he was married to Candice Bergen.

Murmur of the Heart and Au Revoir Les Enfants may be my favourite films of the 70s and 80s respectively.
I also like Elevator to the Gallows, The Fire Within, Lacombe Lucien and Atlantic City a lot.
A great filmmaker.
