I quite liked Murphy's cheeky red into the middle bag.

Found myself rooting for John Higgins. Strange game snooker, sometimes you don't know who you are going to root for till the game starts.
Higgins blown it a little bit though, Selby was off song yesterday, Higgins went 8-3 up, and he could really stamped his authority on the match even more but missed some easy shots, really easy shots, normally into the middle pockets.
Hopefully Higgins can still make a game of it tonight in the final session, but the momentum and confidence is most definitely with Selby. But this a world championship final, nerves and tension can play a part, and funnily enough being just in front can often bring a new pressure.

I would almost always root for the Scot, and this final is no exception. Can't see Higgins doing it now though.

The right result with the shot of the tournament. I liked the 4 cushion escape as well onto the green by one of the Chinese lads.
Selby is turning into quite a force, 3 world titles in 4 years. And beaten Ronnie O'Sullivan, Ding Junhui and John Higgins in the finals. Doesn't get much tougher than than. Funny though, I've never thought of him as a really gifted player, but he just doesn't fuck up often and his safety game is superb.
