A here, I love the movie. Great fun, great visuals & cinematography, it's a keeper.
B+ I give for both parts 2 & 3, D+ for #4. Hopefully this summer's installment is worthwhile.

Solid 7/10. Fun, but goes on a bit too long. The less said about the sequels, the better.

5/10 - The only good thing about the movie was Johnny Depp.

7/10. Surprisingly fun movie to watch the first time. Has not quite held up on subsequent screenings.

I would give it 9.5/10, it is a hugely entertaining film.

It introduced me to Keira, so it has a 10/10 for no other reason than that. The fact that it was great fun is just a bonus.

A 7 for me. Fun, sure, but still a bit bland.

8/10. A shame none of the sequels have been any good.

8.5/10. It's one of the best and most well-known summer blockbusters of recent times. It is a tad too long, however.

I've never done the Disney Ride, but this movie sure is entertaining and filled with quirky dry humour along the way, and this time it works. 8/10

8/10. Sequels are worthless, though.

7/10.
Despite being Disney they didnt do the SJW stuff so heavily here.
Watched it for the first time in years and still liked it. Helps that the screenwriters also did the Mask of Zorro which is possibly the last Hollywood movie I have on my top 60 list.

10/10. Great blend of action, adventure, comedy, romance, and a slight dash of horror.

8.5/10
It goes on about 15 minutes too long, but overall it holds up as a fun swashbuckling action-adventure. Before he wore out his welcome in the sequels, Depp was quite enjoyable as Sparrow in this one. The supporting cast with Knightley, Bloom, Rush, Pryce, etc. are all great. I love the various locations and the action sequences are still thrilling.
