Have you seen this movie: Locke is a 2013 British–American drama film written and directed by Steven Knight. The film stars Tom Hardy in the title role, the only character seen on screen, as he carries on a number of speakerphone conversations with characters voiced by Olivia Colman, Ruth Wilson, Andrew Scott, Ben Daniels, Tom Holland, and Bill Milner. ————- He’s in his car and talking to various people during the entire movie. I had to see this because I couldn’t believe anyone would make a movie like this. I actually liked it a lot. I like Tom Hardy, which had a lot to do with it.

This would make a good play for the radio, of course.

No one has seen this movie?
I found it surprisingly good, although it’s not something I’ll ever see again.
Tom Hardy’s voice and facial expressions - I found him fascinating.

I think it's really good. Hardy gives a damn good performance.

Surprisingly good, and has a powerful minimalist message to it.
I love that final shot where Hardy drives off into the rest of the world and you see all the other cars and all the other heartbreaking and harrowing stories they could tell too.
Good stuff.

I have seen that movie three times so far...
-My first two viewings (July 2014/June 2015) = 7/10 (was among my favorite movies) -My 3rd viewing (Mar 2019) = 6/10 (a mild Thumbs Up)
so it took a hit even though I still like it and will still see it again but it lost most of it's flair for me.
but a movie like that is pretty much carried by the performance since it's basically a guy in his car the whole movie like the OP basically said.
