Take Shelter (2011) Knowing (2009) The Last Wave (1977) I'd argue with Take Shelter, its ambiguous as well.

Take Shelter (2011) Knowing (2009) The Last Wave (1977) I'd argue with Take Shelter, its ambiguous as well. Hmm...it's been a while but I seemed to remember the last scene on the beach removing any ambiguity which may have been there up to that point. The Last Wave, which Take Shelter was effectively a thematic remake was arguably even more ambiguous but the internal logic of both films whether it was dreamt or real was about the end times and civilisation being on borrowed time.
