R.I.P. Loved him. I would like to recommend this fairly obscure horror movie with him as the lead: Cannibal Apocalypse (1980) Fun gory movie.

I'd like to second this recommendation of Antonio Margheriti's crime horror 'Cannibal Apocalypse' and add 'Violent Naples' (1976) and 'The Cynic, The Rat And The Fist' (1977), two violent crime films he made with filmmaker Umberto Lenzi.
Pictued here, with Maurizio Merli ...

Damn, that's a shame. A fine actor who had a very busy career. Action, horror, western, TV work, he's done it all.
R.I.P.

Just learned of his death from this thread. He was great in the Elm Street films. I'll watch them this coming autumn in his honour.
R.I.P. John Saxon.

First thing I knew him as was Nancy's Dad.
Over the years instead, the first thing I thought of when I heard his name was his Jim Jones knockoff in The A-Team, "Children of Jonestown".
Saw him not too long ago on a rerun of Murder, She Wrote, the guy really was in everything, wasn't he?

I remember him as a robot in The Six Million Dollar Man Battle Beyond the Stars I saw at the drive-in. Watched him in some more obscure stuff in recent years like Moonshine County Express (as a poor man's Burt Reynolds) I Kiss the Hand
A Special Magnum for Tony Saito

You haven't lived until you've seen him battling Rosey Grier in "The Glove."

It's a rather obscure movie. Nothing as well-known as "Nightmare on Elm Street" or "Enter the Dragon." It's kind of cheap and exploitive, but I hope you'll dig it.
