All you Midwesterners have these available. They are delicious!
In California they are not.
BUT there is a stand at the California state fair. We would drive 2 hours so my Iowan born husband could get one!
They are good.

enigma72 We sold many pork tenderloin sandwiches at the restaurant that I cooked at. I don't know if they were true pork tenderloin sandwiches as we used the Boneless pork loin and pounding it out into sandwich sized servings. Then either grill them or breaded and fried them Grocery stores sell boneless pork loin pork chops that can be pounded out into a sandwich. They are about the right thickness and would save you from buying a whole pork loin and slicing it.

I'm going to look into it. Thanks!

Martin is right. Buy some pork loin chops then pound them to about a half-inch thickness. Bread 'em and fry 'em!

I know I am uneducated about this BLUSH Do I dip it in a scrambled egg then dredge it through flour? Is the flour seasoned? My mom did this. I never have . Anyone with suggestions are appreciated! Thanks

Their dog was named Kokomo. I took care when they vacationed. He is under stress with COV19 and his job but if I see him I will ask if he's been to Ray's Small world!

We have several restaurants in our area that serve awesome tenderloins. I've never understood though why they insist on making them so large and serve them with a regular sized bun. We buy one and cut it in half and it's still big! I usually eat the half without the bun, but you can order an extra bun.

Like you said. I don't know why they aren't nation wide.

My former Kokimo neighbor was outside and I asked him about Rays. He did indeed remember the tenderloins fondly. I talk to his wife regularly but rarely see him. Fun that you both knew Ray's!!
