I can count the films I’ve seen him in on one hand. The only one I liked him in was HOLES. The last one I saw him in was Oliver Stone’s Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps -10’ which I found to be largely disappointing and most of all due to his presence. I liked some of his films. "Disturbia", "Transformers 1", "Fury", "Eagle Eye"... I'm not a fan of his last Paperbag "I'm not famous" avant garde schtick... Whateve it is. "American Honey" was awful. And I wasn't impressed much by "Honey Boy". Just my opinion. I guess kudos to him for still working despite his issues. |

I feel like he never found his niche as an adult actor. He's not really and action star, not a romantic lead, not all that comedic...he's just kind of an odd duck. He's a good actor, just hasn't found enough roles that suit him.
