Did I miss something or was "Rings" a steaming pile of horse droppings?

I was happy to see the professor (Darlene's boyfriend from 'Roseanne' and the dude from 'The Big Bang Theory') and enjoyed his role. But between the dull side characters, abrupt ending, way too much blue hue, was there anything here? Seemed like a hunk of crap to me.

Did I miss something? Anybody enjoy this? I wanted to...

-Preheat to 450F, bake silently for 26-28 minutes. Tell Shawn its ready 3 minutes after taking out of oven on account of the sensitive lining of the roof of Shawn's mouth.

Avoid this one. My dog and I have never walked faster to return it to the RedBox. And if its exceptionally bad RedBox horror, that really paints a picture.
