What a way to kick off the Hurtsy Era! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! I noticed your ludacris prediction was missing from the game thread this week. And to think, this time you probably would have nailed it!

Carson Wentz morphed into Hulk Hogan.
Now he'll have a lot more time to focus on his true calling - Hulking up.

What a way to kick off the Hurtsy Era! E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! I'm legitimately happy for you, but allow me to be a buzzkill for just a moment. Remember how excited you were about Wentz at one time?

I have to say that although I think Hurts played well, he was helped by Doug Pederson’s play calling this week. He didn’t do Wentz any favors with his play calling for him.

And they were playing the Saints, who as movieliker is wont to remind us, play in a weak division that doesn't prepare them to play 3-8 teams late in the season.

While Carson dominated at North Dakota State
Jalen dominated at Alabama and Oklahoma - 2 powerhouse schools that are typically in the College Final 4
He has the pedigree to be (and will be) The Next Big Thing
The fact that he went in the second round is rather comical/embarrassing/jaw-dropping - that's a big miss by the other 31 teams in the Draft

Who has a rating of 82.5? Who has 4 fumbles? Yeah, I don't think anyone is kicking themselves just yet.

Always making the right read/right decision
Also - running for over 100 yards
Also - the spark he provided the team - a spark that was shown on both the offensive and defensive fronts
Amazing how your defense plays different with a little added extra juice from the offense

They outplayed the Saints yesterday in all aspects of the game. Thank you for the kind words and accepting defeat like a man
I was very happy with not only how well the offense played - but also the added spark the change in QB seemed to give the defense - even with 3 CBs going down and our secondary being decimated. We actually had 2 takeaways on 'D' - which is a rarity for us- and Josh Sweat provided great pressure at DE - the defense seemed rejuvenated
I enjoyed watching Hill at QB - he's a big strong kid - and wish you luck in the playoffs

The guy was an interior decorator! "Remember When" is an excellent Sopranos episode from the final season heavily featuring Tony trying to figure out what to do with Paulie Walnuts. sdm's line is a variation on a quote from the episode. I just responded with a random Paulie-ism.

Although I'm not a proponent of binge watching shows that I genuinely care about or want to become invested in. I find that with binge watching, when something big happens, you need time to properly digest it. If you immediately go onto the next episode, then the stakes feel lessened and the show's highlights become somewhat muted. I also find you retain less of it, kinda like cramming for a test the night before. You'll remember it in the short term but a week later you'll have forgotten a lot of it. That's just me though. However you want to view it, it's excellent overall.

Going to get this out of the way early as I missed my upset pick last week - Eagles 31 Cards 28 1st Time in NFL History where both QBs rush for over 100 yards E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!
