Even in death, one doesn’t outlive their usefulness.

Sure, he's not using it.

What does it matter if he's dead? His body would be useless at that point.

It's hard to say if Arnie takes cover behind him before he gets shot.

Ethical or not, I would probably have done the same thing as Arnold in that situation. It might be like reflex to survive.

That scene had to be edited to get Total Recall down to an R-rating.

That scene had to be edited to get Total Recall down to an R-rating. What was in the original? Organs and limbs being blasted out?

It's ethical by my standards. Even if he wasn't already dead, if it's me or him, it's him. I would feel bad about it but I would feel good about still being alive. But is it moral? What say you Super-predator ?

Well I wouldn't say ethical. I would say useless. Unless the body is made out concrete, it's not going to protect you from those bullets.

In one of the Blind Dead movies, a guy uses a child as bait for the zombies.

It's okay as long as the human shield is already dead.

Well I wouldn't say ethical. I would say useless. Unless the body is made out concrete, it's not going to protect you from those bullets. They are submachine guns firing 9mm pistol rounds, so the body would stop at least some, if not all, depends on range and angle. Now if they were rifles, then no, go right through.

By the skin of reason, it's ethical only if he's dead.
