These are two of my favourite actors whose work I've enjoyed since childhood. I would rent every movie they made on video back in the 1980s, when I was a schoolboy. This interview means a lot to me because they've been real-life friends for an eternity and both are known for not saying much off camera. They went on to make 'Off Limits' (1988) and 'The Player' (1992) together. They're also not getting any younger as Glenn is 81 and Ward is 77. They came up with actors like Lance Henriksen (80), Nick Nolte (79), Peter Coyote (78), Gary Busey (76), Danny Glover (74), Tom Berenger (71), Keith Carradine (71) and Ed Harris (69), who are all getting on in years (as well as the late Powers Boothe who's greatly missed).
Hope you enjoy it.

I often forget Scott Glenn was in Apocalypse Now. There's some interesting actors in character roles in that movie. Colleen Camp and Cynthia Wood worked on it, reminding us Francis Coppola comes from the world of independent filmmaking, Roger Corman's mentorship and drive-in cinemas, as does Scott Glenn. I think I read recently that Sondra Currie was considered for a role, which would have been interesting as her kid sisters Cherie Currie and Marie Currie were becoming rock 'n' roll stars in the mid-to-late 1970s.

Glenn was great in Silverado...but all the leads were.
Ward...I always think Tremors first.
