They already have Inhumans. If they push X-men into the already expanding MCU, it’ll be overload. MCU is getting close to that now with their current, non-Disney+ TV shows. As it is, they’re burning through characters and plot lines. The X-Men most certainly will be added to the MCU. The Inhumans TV show was only made because Ike Perlmutter was trying to push that property as a substitute for the X-Men.

The X-Men most certainly will be added to the MCU. The Inhumans TV show was only made because Ike Perlmutter was trying to push that property as a substitute for the X-Men. I’m speaking in terms of being incorporated as part of the MCU storylines. If the MCU is populated by X-Men Mutants, then it’s overkill. And the last few DC and X-Men have been blah. Joker is the exception, but that went far afield of the standard genre. Logan is pretty too, but that film closes out the Professor X/Magneto phase. If Marvel can come up with a way to reboot the X-Verse without compromising the Earth-616, more power to them. Aside: There was a time when cowboy pictures ruled American TV and cinema, now it’s comic book superheroes. 😁 Doubt it will be overkill, the lack of mutants so far would require them to be introduced, you cannot introduce them and suddenly have them numbering in the 100's of 1000's or millions in an instant, so likely thing will be a small number of them will be introduced, and gradually more will be included over time until they naturally fill up more of the population in the movies and shows, they exist in the comics together they can likely exist in the movies together. Also they will likely be removing other characters from play to allow the X-Men and others to step in and fill their void, so it's not just increasing and increasing characters but replacing some to keep it getting too bloated.
