Anyone ever see the Star Trek Director's Cuts? I know most of the original films got them. Wondering if they're worth it or not. I think most say the director's cut for The Motion Picture is an improvement overall. It doesn't fix all the flaws of the original, but it does at least improve upon them. The director's cut for Wrath of Kahn doesn't really help nor hurt the film.

It depends. There's a novelty in seeing new scenes in a movie you've enjoyed like Aliens, apocalypse now, dances with wolves (off the top of my head). Afterwards the extra scenes interrupt the flow of the movie and I prefer the original cut.
You get directors cut that add in what they had to cut out to avoid an xrating like Natural Born Killers and Robocop which add and improve the movie with the extra violence.
I prefer the exorcis t director cut over the original for the scene Blatty wanted in and I like what they done with Excorcist 3, shame about the quality though.
Nothing new with directors cuts though.
