A duel of the citruses. Which wins, and why?

Both are used for citrus flavor and acid, but limes are more acidic and punchy. Obviously they cross over but it's not exactly apples to apples. When you want a more delicate citrus then lemon. Kind of like comparing oranges to grapefruits.

I go half and half. Both cooking or ordering a gin and tonic. I think sprite or 7up branded it 'Limon'. A few items I only use lemon (breaded cutlets, fish), might be childhood, but if I ever bake a key lime pie.... I would go sans lemon... the first try.

Don't use lemons much. I like a lime slice in my beer and lime in guacamole.

I'll use lemons to spritz on my cooked fish, but we cook with limes quite often. We pretty much give a squirt of fresh lime juice on everything else we cook - vegetables, stews, rice, tacos, you name it.

I think limes have a better taste, but I use lemons more often in cooking.

I love lemon, and really do not like limes. Coconut, is OK but doesn't seem to go with lemon.

Lemons!!!!!
I have little experience with limes .
I've had lemon trees so use those regularly ackbar!
BTW when my garbage disposal stinks I put citrus through it. If that's not enough baking soda and vinegar.
You didn't know I led such an exciting life did you ackbar? Lol
