I’ve seen the Theatrical Cut but my wife is finally interested in seeing this film. I want to but it and own it. Which should I buy and let her be introduced to?
The Theatrical Cut The Redux The Final Cut

So just stick with the Theatrical Cut. Why does he keep making cuts?

So just stick with the Theatrical Cut. Why does he keep making cuts? The Redux is lumbering and unfocused. The scenes, like the French plantation, work better when viewed on their own.

The Final Cut is just the Redux version minus two scenes (trading fuel for time with the Playboy bunnies and Kurtz reading Time magazine).

Theatrical.
There was (and maybe still is) a boxed set came with the original and the redux. Reasonable price.

Theatrical. There was (and maybe still is) a boxed set came with the original and the redux. Reasonable price. I think every physical version of Apocalypse Now (DVD, Blu-ray, 4K) has both the Theatrical Cut and Redux.
I think the Final Cut is only available on 4K.
