I am average at multitasking when it comes to doing two or more non-complex things at a time but I am terrible when it comes to doing one complex thing and another non-complex thing(s). I believe almost 95% humans are better than me in such situations. It's just that if something requires my attention then I am totally focused on it and find it stressful to do another thing. I am simply not good enough to do many things together. But I have seen many people over the years who are really good at multitasking and don't lose their cool under pressure.

Depends on how much I'm multitasking.

Uh, yeah and no. Depends on which tasks, and what's going on.

No, which is why I aim to complete one task at a time as swiftly as possible.

My job requires a lot of multitasking and for the most part, I do it quite well. However, it's better and less stressful on you to do at least one task at a time.

multitasking is a fallacy. People can only do ONE thing at a time if they wish to do it at their best. If you try to do 2 things at once then BOTH are done at LESS than 50% efficiency. People who talk about multitasking are kidding themselves.

I don't think this article was about my multitasking. Lol Mine was a phone call while feeding my youngest at the time my oldest was telling me about her day as the doorbell rings and a pot on the stove is boiling over. Lol Mothers are the ultimate multitaskers!

I have never been good in multitasking and sometimes when I see people with great multitasking skills then I feel I wish I were like them. It would save me time and I would be more efficient. Just that I am unable to do something well if my entire focus is not on that task. When people chatter, I am almost unable to work. Many of my friends would even listen to songs while working in office.

Not at all. I make mistakes, lose concentration, grow frustrated easily. I don't even like listening to music while I work, if I listen to the radio I prefer to listen to people speaking. When I create a lengthy post on imdb2, I do it in silence. Only when I've completed it will I pour a drink and play some music. I used to write a lot in pubs so the pen flows, but I've learnt over time that some things are best written in near-sobriety.

I am not good at multitasking. I really have to focus on what I am doing.
