Apparently a RB for JAX is out for the year after being hospitalized twice by Covid.
Somebody on Twitter brought up the thought that guys like Zeke and Cam haven't looked themselves after getting Covid so maybe this illness is affecting guys long term more than some want to admit. Not sure who else has had it to fully test the theory but they're probably the highest profile ones.

Nobody had more cases than the Titans, and they've been great this year.

Dirty hits are only dirty if the perpetrator is looking at the victim. Someone battling through cancer without missing a day of work is not inspirational - merely impressive.

A guy doesn't need to be intentionally trying to injure someone for it to be a dirty hit. That scenario is of course dirty, but the definition of dirty doesn't end there. Taking a free shot at a guy because you don't like him, because you just want to hit something, because you know he's going down anyway but have a bonus in your contract that kicks in after a certain number of tackles; these are all reasons someone takes a cheap shot at someone without intentionally trying to end his career. Still dirty.

Remember him trying to do the SKOL thing with Vikings "fans" on the screen that 100% did not contain actual live footage during the draft? He always comes off as someone who's never actually interacted with another human.

Buffalo's favorite non-Bill, Andy Dalton is ruled out, DiNucci to start
The wrestler Dominic DiNucci? He has to be in his 80's. I actually seen Dominic DiNucci wrestle when I was a kid. He wrestled Hans Schmidt. Even in the 70's, the bad guys were Germans. Of course, Hans Schmidt was really a French Canadian. He was the Eighth Wonder of the World before Andre.

I think Ben DiNucci is related to the guy Chrissy Moltisanti shot in the foot at a bakery.

Avery Williamson gets traded from the Jets to the Steelers. 0-8 to 7-0. Nice if you can swing it.

Patriots get to demolish the leftovers now & reload anew sooner. Cam probably won't see another starting gig... he's lost QB presence & isn't throwing at all with NFL calibre moxie. I would hope they bench him once they're officially out of playoff contention.
Dolphins looked great today, I could see them going deep in the playoffs. They made the Rams look like children.

I'm just trying to figure out what's wrong with the Patriots. What's wrong with the offense? billychuck says he sets up the offense to the QB's strengths every season. They won three Super Bowls with Charlie Weiss as OC, and three more after he left. They won three Super Bowls with Josh McDaniels as OC and he's still in New England, how come they can't score points? They have some injuries at WR, but Edelman missed the entire 2017 season and the Pats went to the Super Bowl (with Brady throwing for 505 yds and 3 TDs in a tough loss where the defense couldn't stop a backup QB the entire game). For that matter, they went to the AFC championship game in 2006 with one of the worst receiving corps I can remember. They've always (well, since 2001 anyway) been able to plug in anyone at receiver and get production out of them. Name the NE receiver who lit up the league after he left the Patriots. Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch? Randy Moss post-New England? Bethel Johnson? Aaron Dobson? Chris Hogan? (I'd argue Welker, when he joined another historic offense with Peyton Manning). I mean this team lost the greatest TE in history to injury in early December of 2016 (he only played 8 games total that year) and still completed the greatest comeback (and if you want to see the actual footage of that conversation, skip ahead to about the 10:00 mark. I wonder why he mentions the QB and not the coach?) in Super Bowl history, winning SB 51. Maybe it's the running game? They won two Super Bowls with Antowain Smith at RB. They won a Super Bowl two years ago with Rex Burkhead and Sony Michel. Burkhead is still there even if Michel can't stay healthy to save his life and is worthless when he's available, anyway. They won Super Bowl 49 (against the defending champ with the league's best defense) and got to the AFC championship game the following year during now retired offensive line guru Dante Scarnecchia's first two year absence. Is it the defense? They won three Super Bowls with Romeo Crennel as DC, then three more Super Bowls without him. They went to Super Bowl 46 with the worst ranked pass defense in the Super Bowl era. Billychuck the genius is still there, why can't they get stops when they need them? Why did players opt out in the first place? Why don't they seem motivated, why don't they believe they can win? (This is totally unrelated, but how many Buccaneers opted out this season?) The Patriots are 2-5 now, they hadn't been 2-5 since 2000. It's going to be tough to even finish .500 with their remaining schedule; they've finished with a winning record every season since 2001. What's different about this season in Foxborough compared to the last 19? billychuck is still there, and we all know that despite his total failure as a head coach beforehand (42-58 record, 5-11 his first year in New England, 0-2 in 2001), he learned how to be a great head coach in week three of 2001 after Bledsoe got hurt. So what ingredient are they missing? It's so strange.
