And no huge poll at the top of every page, or Eagles/Orioles crap!

I presume Xeliou will continue to do his weekly play by play threads so maybe we can use this one for general news/developments? Especially this year; I have a feeling thereβll soon be a lot to discuss... if you know what I mean...

Yes I will do the game threads each week - the weekly Sunday play by play threads and the Monday and Thursday night game threads, this thread can be used to discuss general news from around the NFL, thanks for starting it, NJtoTX.

SB LV: Seattle 20 - Baltimore 16
I think the Patriots should feel like 9 wins is a realistic goal. Playing the AFC West & NFC West won't be fun, travel included. Belichick seems all in with Cam, & yet is guy really gonna be healthy enough for more than 12 games?
I'm looking forward to how the 1 team playoff bye plays out during the regular season, & the playoffs.

I'm bummed about the no fans in attendance thing because I wanted to see how many sour grapes the Washington Redskins fans were going to throw at the field during the game.
Media: You can't call them the Redskins anymore
Stadium: Proceeds with Redskins chants from opening whistle to closing whistle.

Giants - Looking at 3-13. The only thing that will reduce our loses would be a covid cancellation.

If they are going to put up cardboard cutouts in the NFL stadiums, I demand that they are of away fans for the Chargers home games. While ever other quarterback in the league will bemoan the lack of homefield support, Phil Rivers will see an empty stadium as being an improvement over the last three years.

Philip Rivers isnβt on the Chargers anymore you know. And some teams are allowing fans, I hear the Chiefs are allowing some for Thursdayβs game, last I heard.

No - - but having zero fans in Indy will be an improvement over playing in LA.

DeAndre Hopkins casually sat down and negotiated to make himself the NFL's highest-paid non-QB ever; 2-year extension worth $54 million. Yep, he did that deal himself.

Hot take: Deshaun Watson will win MVP. Another: Ed Oliver steps up and becomes an elite DL. And you thought the Bills defense was good last year...

I guess weβll see, but I think theyβll surprise.

I disagree - I mean look at that offense, talentless. An unproven QB who had a weak first year, the worst receiving unit in the NFL and no rushing game either. I predict Washington will win the Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes - get the #1 pick in the 2021 draft.

He was always going to need time yet he was thrust too early into a garbage fire situation with a crumbling organization around him. I think Rivera brings much-needed stability to Washington and weβll see a difference. Also, that defensive line is pretty nasty with the addition of Chase Young. (Also: keep an eye on Antonio Gibson. Watch this space.)

Just want to see some elite level play by Russell. Don't think we are winning. I am not from Philadelphia.
