I was thinking about a Goff for Stafford deal the other day but figured if no one was talking about it, there was a good reason. Guess there wasn't. Apparently the Broncos, Football Team, Bears, and Panthers all offered Detroit more than a first rounder for Stafford. Niners and Patriots also contacted the Lions about Stafford. When Schefter was asked "over/under for 18 new starting quarterbacks for next year", he said "over". That seems quite high, but even 12-14 would be amazing.

How the fuck is Garoppolo not an βNFL ready QBβ? Seriously I donβt get where the anti Jimmy G sentiment is coming from, people forget that the Niners were in the Super Bowl last year and came close to winning it all. I donβt get why the Niners want to get rid of him. Maybe if he could stay healthy.
Still, heβs led a team to a Super Bowl birth, heβs far more NFL proven than Sam Darnold, whoβs looked like a bust during his time in the NFL. Like I say, I think Jimmy G is a solid franchise QB and I think the Niners could get back to the Super Bowl with him if they add some more offensive pieces around him.

Either old farts, Bledsoe, Flutie, Orton, or projects, EJ Manuel, JP Losman, or bargain bin bums, Trent Edwards, Nate Peterman. You canβt do that anymore unless you want 20 years of shit. You might catch a lucky break, Nick Foles, Trent Dilfer, Jeff Hostetler, but you need an exceptional defense to win like that. Houston has an exceptional QB now. If they go 100% rebuild, then a Jim G is perfect. You can fill all the other holes and then worry about QB. If you want a quick turnaround, then Iβm not wasting my time on an oft injured player or a project

Like I say, I think Jimmy G is a very capable QB, and the Niners have a good amount of talent on both sides of the ball, this year they suffered from injuries and the Super Bowl loss hangover, but I would keep Jimmy G and the draft picks, draft a few more solid players and I think they would have a real chance at getting back to the Super Bowl. I wouldnβt be surprised at all to see the Niners back in the playoffs next season with Jimmy G.

I still think Goff is a pretty good QB, Iβm not sure why he gets so much hate, heβs led the Rams to the playoffs in 3 of his 4 years as a starter, has been to a Super Bowl and they won a playoff game with him this season. Itβs like every team/fanbase expects their QB to be like Tom Brady or Patrick Mahomes and thatβs not realistic. The Foles situation was weird, he just came in in December when Wentz went down and got hot in the playoffs.

If the Niners pass on Watson, keep Jimmy G. And have another dismal year, then heads will roll. Especially if a team gets Watson and they make a deep playoff run.

Jason Witten accepts Head Coaching Job at Liberty Christian High School
He's coaching at the school his children attend
Way to embarrass your kids
It states he had numerous NFL and college opportunities but chose this route.

Per a beat writer for the Las Vegas Review Journal, multiple teams are expected to approach the Raiders about trading Derek Carr, including the Colts, Bears, Football Team, Patriots, and Texans, if they trade Watson. Raiders would either go with Mariotta as their quarterback or take what they got in the Carr trade and add it to their own first round pick(s) and try to get Watson.

I think Mariota would be a decent 1A/project to acquire. Frankly, the Jaguars should aim for him as Lawrence's backup.

XXXVI W sideline Vinatieri 50 yard FG XXXVIII W sideline Vinatieri 41 yard FG XXXIX W sideline Vinatieri 22 yard FG XXLII L sideline Eli 13 yard pass to Burress XXLVI L sideline Ahmad Bradshaw 6 yard rush XLIX W sideline Russell Wilson pass intercepted by Malcolm Butler at NE 1 LI W handed off James White 2 yard rush LII L sideline Zach Ertz 11 yard pass from Nick Foles LIII W handed off Sony Michel 2 yard rush
XXXVI - Led a 53 yard drive with 1:30 to play and no timeouts to get them into FG range after the defense gave up two TDs to tie the game. XXXVIII - The offense scored 18 points in the 4th quarter, (and it had to because the defense gave up 19) and the final 37 yard drive into FG range with 1:08 had to overcome an offensive PI call. XXXIX - Offense scored 10 points in the 4th quarter and the final FG scoring drive chewed up half the clock and put them up by ten points. The defense gave up a 4th qtr TD to make it close, what a shock. Yes, he was on the sideline when the other team scored. Go figure. He still threw for over 500 yds and 3 TDs against the Eagles. What a bum. XLIX - Threw 2 4th qtr TD passes in (at the time) the biggest 4th qtr comeback in SB history (10 pts) against the #1 defense in the league, then had to sweat it out as Belichick's defense let the Seahawks get all the way down to the goal line LI - Threw for over 400 yds as the offense scored 25 points in the final 23 minutes of the game, was absolutely lights out in the 4th and OT. Watch the game. Watch the highlights. Listen to the Falcons player who said, "They have Tom Brady, though," when they were up by 20+ points. LIII - Handed off to Michel after three perfect passes, including one to a triple covered Gronk at the goal line. I don't know what the fuck you were trying to prove here, but it failed. He is the reason New England won all those titles.
