I've dealt with people telling me I looked like a boy since I was a kid. I've gotten used to it and have had plenty of time to come up with responses. I'm bisexual too but lesbians don't want me because I've already been with men. I'm in a relationship with a man right now. Really? I know lots of lesbians --- in lesbian relationships --- who have been with men. Doesn't seem to be a problem. I would think most lesbians have been with men. How else would they know they're gay? Does your man know you've been with women? I guess it's a millennial lesbian thing. They grew up in a time when it's acceptable to be gay and didn't feel any pressure to do stuff with men. My man knows I'm bisexual, but my experience is women is quite limited.

No. I'm 61 and I know lesbians in their 50s. But I live in New Orleans. It's really liberal down here. Maybe you live somewhere more conservative. All the men I know would love a bisexual girlfriend. If you ever run out of boyfriends, just move down here. You'll never run out of boyfriends, or girlfriends.

The Canadian government was one of the first in the world to be accepting of LGBT, but segments of society can still be quite homophobic, especially among immigrants. As recently as 2017 we had Conservative leadership contestants (think Republican primaries) win ridings (districts) on a platform of reverting the definition of marriage as between a man and a woman.

If I'm gonna live with a man I have no interest in getting involved with, I feel safer if he's gay. I had a middle aged man as a roommate and he sexually harassed me to the point where I had to leave. I currently have 2 other roommates and they're women so I use "gay roommate" to distinguish him as that's how the previous tenant referred to him when I looked to rent this place.

Well, right now you're with a guy. So no problem for you. I assume eventually the liberals will get back in power sooner or later.

And the Conservatives had a leadership election this year and LGBT issues were not in contention.

If the Liberals are in power, why don't they push for gay marriage rights? Gay marriage has been legal in Ontario since 2003 and the whole of Canada since 2005. That being said, there has still been opposition in recent years.

Seems superfluous to me, considering that it doesn't appear to have anything to do with his cleanliness, and that "he" sufficiently distinguishes him from the two "shes" you live with.
