I generally follow British Tv Shows , so here are a couple with women in uniform -
Foyle's War follows a retiring police detective who is called back to the service ,
because of the general militarisation due to WWII . He is given a female assistant
of the MTC , who escorts him and proves to be an intelligent investigator as well .
A deep relationship develops between them . (The singer also has a key role in the
show)
Our Girl is a recent tv show about the British soldiers who have fought overseas .
It comes across a bit like an enlistment presentation , but it follows the female
enlistees on the battlefield . Generally , most of the stories are based on actual
experiences of serving members .
