I've seen her most recently as Veronica Mars' runaway mother in the first season of that cult TV series.

She was a guest star in the MacGyver episode The Assassin which was the 22 episode of season 1.

I watched Free Spirit every week. I was shocked to see this subject, I got the idea it is one of the most forgotten sitcoms. You never see it talked about. Until now. I had a huge crush on Corrine. Imo she never looked sexier than when she was doing FS. Something about her hair then.. Aside from FS I only ever knew her from Police Academy 4; she became Zed's girlfriend. I was lucky enough to find a dvd of Joysticks at Goodwill but have never watched it.

Never seen Free Spirit, (kind of wish I had though) but yeah, when I first saw her, it was something about her huge 80s hair, and sweet face that just made me fell completely for Corinne Bohrer, and is also pretty much the main reason to why exactly Police Academy Part 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987) is my favorite of the entire series, and must have re-watched the entire scene with Zed and Laura more than a few times over, and always loved how she sways her hair and then the incredibly cheesy pop-tune to that of The Blow Monkeys comes in, and, classic 80s stuff. Aside from FS I only ever knew her from Police Academy 4; she became Zed's girlfriend. I was lucky enough to find a dvd of Joysticks at Goodwill but have never watched it. Joysticks is kind of, well, not a "great" movie by any means, however I guess it has quite some of that b-movie/teen-sex comedy charm which is of course much thanks to that of Corinne, but have not seen it for some time now, and I might give it another go. She seemed to have a way of often ending up doing either the sweet, charming and maybe a bit "naive" romantic interest/girlfriend, to the main character, or the stereotypical 80s valley-girl bimbo, at least of the 80s and 90s movies that I have seen of her. And I guess these kind of typecasting roles, did not help out much, also a few of her bigger roles in stuff like Vice Versa (1987) sadly did not go too well either, as the film did not become a big hit, but I thought it was probably one of the more enjoyable (very similar in story and plot to that of Tom Hanks and Big) family comedies of the late 80s.

I used to watch 'Free Spirit' on television too. Great show.
She made a great pairing with Bobcat Goldthwait in the 'Police Academy' series.
I can't honestly say 'Joysticks' is a comedy I enjoy all that much. Greydon Clark's films always looked a bit scuzzy even by drive-in standards, like he'd forgotten to wipe the camera lens, and 'Joysticks' is no exception. Still, I'd argue it's one of his better pictures and it does have some enjoyable moments, though I prefer his horror comedies 'Satan's Cheerleaders' (1977) and 'Wacko' (1982). I hope you give it a whirl.

I like 'Vice Versa' too. I thought it complimented 'Big' really well when I was a kid and rented them both on more one occasion. I think Judge Reinhold has that same ability as Tom Hanks to play adult adolescent with charm and likeability.

I have a movie of Reinhold, I think it is called Office Head or Head Office (1985), which seems like a fun ride, but have it saved for a bit later on. Anyway, Ruthless People (1986) was another solid comedy that I really enjoyed, and while I guess Judge never became a typical leading man, he ended up suiting well in with the likeable side-kick part. But I guess those few times he tried his luck on the leading part, it never quite reached the same heights as what he did in classic movie franchises such as The Beverly Hills Cop series or (well, maybe not classic, but surely very successful) Santa Claus trilogy. Yeah, Corinne and Bobcat had quite a fine chemistry between them. I thought it was nice seeing Zed hooking up with Laura. It helped him mature a bit, and I think specially his roomate, poor Sweetchuck was sure getting a bit tired of having to cope with his eccentric pal.

Oh yeh, Judge Reinhold's been in some great films. Like Tom Hanks and Steve Guttenberg, he flourished on the 1980s comedy scene and I believe his films from this decade include some genre classics and several hidden gems.
I like 'Head Office' (1986), it's a droll satire that's well scripted, though it doesn't contain fireworks. Another I'd recommend from the same time is the delightful dance comedy 'Off Beat' (1986) which provides Reinhold with a great showcase for his physical skills.

I had the most real life and nice dream, last night, and where Corinne showed up as a "guest". I seldom get these kind of dreams that often, but this felt so real and it was taking place, at my old grandparents house, where I was all alone with Bohrer, and she was doing some kind of work-out, in a tight jumpsuit outfit, and then suddenly there was a lot of cuddling and kissing going on, and then she told me that she had been in a relationship with an old classmate of mine, who I tought of as a good friend, but she then replied that he was always badmouthing and saying nasty things about me, whenever they were alone.
I also very much remember that I asked her, what kind of music she listened to, as it was some upbeat 80s synth pop music, but cannot remember what she told me. Another thing, her perfume, when I woke up, I could almost still smell lady perfume, from my bed sheets, clothes and, for a while, it just felt like it hang around in the bedroom, very weird and, damn, I want to have more of these kind of dreams.
Anyway, just for the fun of it, I searched up Corinne and jumpsuit, and I remember I had seen a few photos of her in that dressing, but not sure from which film or tv episode it were taken from. Anyway, all of a sudden, I was brought towards an episode from The Flash, called Trial of the Trickster, featuring Mark Hammill, and where I guess it kind of feels like a similar plot/style, to his later involvment with Batman: The Animated Series, and of course the Harley Quinn character (Corinne) as his sidekick.

She was very easy on the eyes in Vice Versa. I also like the movie a lot more than the similarly plotted Big or Like Father, Like Son that came out around the same time.

There were quite a few 'Freaky Friday' type movies about swapped identities / possessed people in the 1980s and those three mined similar territory.
