I'm really glad they didn't use the title "The Lost Boys" for this race swapped "TLB" ripoff. Hollyweird can make all the bad race swapped gender swapped ripoffs they want, as long as they come up with their own title, I won't complain.

Subtle. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/tek3suwt5/laugh.gif) I'll wait to judge though and I don't think it looks like The Lost Boys.

And "Star Crash" doesn't look like Star Wars, but it's still known as a bad SW ripoff. ![](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/M/MV5BY2Y5MjY0MDItMDM0Yy00MmQyLWEzMTktNWY4Njc5NGI2N2Y1XkEyXkFqcGdeQXVyMTQ2MjQyNDc@._V1_.jpg)

Of course Vampires in the Bronx has similarities, but if it wasn't about kids fighting vampires nobody would have seen a comparison. "Inspired by" is different than being a rip-off. Star Crash is undeniably a rip-off.

I didn't see that coming. I love that backhanded "it doesn't bother me" comment in your OP. The sincerity is staggering.

Yeah, Star Crash is parodied by the new Mystery Science Theater on Netflix. It's really funny, and on par with Mike and the Bots episodes.

The sincerity is staggering. Star Crash trying to be a gender swapped Star Wars doesn't bother me either. If SC was called "Star Wars II" THEN I would be bothered. Get it?
