I voted for 'Prometheus' and 'Passion', both of which I have on dvd. In 'Wylde', they described her as the go-to actress for portraying "the difficult, the troubled, and the real".
Unfortunately, I've not seen a lot of the movies listed. I did see 'The Drop' and 'Rupture' but wasn't so keen on them.
Need to see more of Noomi Rapace's work.

Since I have not seen the Millennium movies for a long while, (I think I haven not seen them all together since 2011), so I feel I have to give them a new re-watch, in order to kind of decide how I will vote them, even though they might likely surpass anything else that I have seen of Noomi, as I remember enjoying them very much.
Anyway, out of those that I have seen more recently, I went ahead with these 4 picks:
Prometheus (2012) - 7/10 Have not seen it since winter of 2017, but I remember quite liking it.
What Happened to Monday (2017) - 7/10 This one I really enjoyed, felt at times like something which Paul Verhoeven could have done back in the 90s, or something similiar. A good sci-fi/action thriller, which kept me on my toes all the way through.
The Monitor (2011) - 6,5/10 Well made norwegian horror film, that stands out as one of the better ones, much thanks to its two main leads, but also a fine atmosphere going on as well.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) - 6/10 I am not sure which one of these two Sherlock Holmes films I liked the most, but I have kept them both in my movie collection, so I guess they did their job when it comes to entertain me, but probably the one I remember least out of the four films I brought up.

A terrific thread COE,and I was wondering what is Stockholm (2018) about?
Out of the Millennium trio,my order is 1 (my third favourite film of all time!) 3 and 2. I was going to ask about what you think of Play With Fire? I think that the focus being placed on side-characters for a good part of the flick left it feeling a bit baggy, with it finally really kicking into life in the last 40 mins with Salander V The Hulk.

I voted for 'Prometheus' and 'Passion', both of which I have on dvd. In 'Wylde', they described her as the go-to actress for portraying "the difficult, the troubled, and the real".
That’s^ a good description of what roles she absolutely nails in movies. She’s said in a few different interviews I’ve watched with her that she doesn’t let vanity get in the way of her taking on roles and is willing to change her looks in whatever way is necessary. Here is one such instance where she mentions it: She does indeed take on difficult roles, often playing characters who aren’t easy to like, but I’ve always found her performances have a ‘realness’ to them no matter how ‘crazy’ the role. Even in the so-so films I’ve watched, she always turns in a solid performance. The movie I most recently watched (for the first time) was Angel of Mine. Like in The Monitor, there’s a complex mother character that Noomi’s playing and towards the end she really does look like she’s been put through the wringer. She’s an actress who gives it her all and you almost feel exhausted for her. It was a deeply emotional performance and one of her best in recent years, I think. Unfortunately, I've not seen a lot of the movies listed. I did see 'The Drop' and 'Rupture' but wasn't so keen on them. Need to see more of Noomi Rapace's work. I was wondering if I should get Rupture and watch it. I’ve heard it’s not ‘great’, but I am at least curious to check it out for Noomi’s performance in it. I’d definitely recommend checking out more of the films in her list of credits as included in this^ poll. I myself haven’t seen all of them as yet, but am slowly working my way through her filmography (most of them I’m rewatching, though some I'm watching for the first time). I liked her and Tom Hardy's characters/performances in The Drop, as well as the dog...but that was about it. I’ve only seen Prometheus... Definitely check out some of her other films if you can. She has a vast array of roles she’s played/films she’s starred in. Personally, I’d recommend the Millennium Trilogy, What Happened to Monday, Passion, and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows if you want to see a different variety of her movies. As I mentioned above^, no matter what the film, you can always be assured she’ll turn in a decent performance. After watching the deleted scenes for Prometheus, I wished they’d left in all of hers. They added a bit more to her character, I thought. I especially preferred the alternate version of her final exchange with the David character. I thought that would’ve been a ‘stronger’ final moment between them in the movie. Frustratingly, they seemed to ‘soften’ her character a bit. I was already familiar with one actress playing many different roles in the TV series Orphan Black starring Tatiana Maslany (if you haven’t seen the show, I’d highly recommend it). So I knew it was all very technical to film such scenes. Plus, that was for a TV series that ran for 5 seasons, whereas What Happened to Monday was just one movie. Still, Noomi is to be commended for playing seven different roles and managing to make them all stand out in such a short space of time (since she didn’t have multiple seasons to develop them). I kind of wished this film could’ve become a series so we might’ve gotten to know the sisters better and seen Noomi develop them further. It’s a movie I do intend to rewatch. I’ve watched The Monitor a couple of times (when it’s been on TV). If you want to see her tackle another difficult mother role, check out Angel of Mine (which I just finished watching). I know some didn’t like Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, but I actually really enjoyed it. It’s another one on my rewatch list. You can find a brief description of Stockholm here (it's next on my to-watch list): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stockholm_(2018_film)If I’m ranking the Millennium Trilogy of films... **mildly spoilery below** I think the first one is in top spot. The second film would’ve probably taken top spot...except quite a bit of stuff was cut from the book (I’m pretty sure the second book is my favourite of the original three Stieg Larsson books), so I rank it second. As for the third film, it might feel ‘slow’ to some people, especially all the courtroom stuff, but I actually found it quite satisfying as all these truths came out about what her character had been through and she finally got justice. The reason why I recommend the ‘Extended Versions’ is they restore quite a lot of stuff that was missing from the ‘Theatrical Versions’ of the films (since it was originally a six-part TV mini-series and stuff had to be cut out to make them ‘appropriate’ runtime length for the films to be released in theatres).
