I like her a lot. Besides Juliette Lewis, Uma Thurman is the only actress of semi-recent years that I really like.

Here you go ....

Yeah! I know about that movie and once in a while I will check to see if it's on YouTube, but it never seems to be. And I don't think ioffer is around anymore. (I recently looked up availability of "Dying Room Only" and ioffer looks defunct.) But, yeah, I know about HB and along with the other two gals, I also like Gena Rowlands a lot. The movie seems like a no-brainer go to movie for me. It sounds like you enjoyed it.

It's elevated by the cast, but what a cast. For John Cassavetes fans, and fans of independent American cinema in general, the great Ben Gazzara's in there too.

Kill Bill shows her entire range. She was robbed of a nomination.

She once said she was in love with one of my favourite actors, Ethan Hawke ... I don't read any gossip columns so I have no reason to doubt, I like them both as creative artists anyway ...

Ben Gazzara was soooooo handsome back in the day. Yowza. I watched "Anatomy of a Murder" recently. Ben Gazzara was as handsome as Lee Remick was pretty.

Kill Bill shows her entire range. She was robbed of a nomination. I agree. She was so good in both of the KB films. Really an emotional powerhouse. There's just no rhyme or reason to what the AA will pick to nom.

Uma Thurman and Steve Buscemi go way back ... they first worked together on 'Kiss Daddy Goodnight'. I think he's seen her act on stage too, perhaps when she appeared in 'The Misanthrope' by Moliere at the Classic Stage Company in New York, though I don't remember now.

Shes great in Kill Bill. She played one of the best female protagonists in my opinion.
And I liked her as Poison Ivy. I admit I have a soft spot for Batman and Robin.

Oh yeah, the Batman ladies (Uma and Alicia) are among the main reasons to why I also enjoyed it, but then again I re-watched both of Schumacher's mid 90s Bat-flicks a few weeks ago, and found them to be quite enjoyable, and of course nostalgia certainly plays a big part in there as well. Still, they came with some very beautiful women, lots of great music and I had a good time seeing them once again, and where also Nicole Kidman looked pretty damn good.

When it comes to Uma Thurman, I think my two favorites from hers, are in the very solid black comedy-drama/romance film Mad Dog and Glory (1993), and then later on in the fantastic sci-fi thriller Gattaca (1997).

When Michelle Pfeiffer left, she should have played Catwoman. She’d been perfect.

When Michelle Pfeiffer left, she should have played Catwoman. She’d been perfect. She wore a leather suit for 'The Avengers' update.
