I have two cousins who worked for the only one around here, about 5 miles away from me. I was told they only need a movie file to play. Maybe you can call the owner and ask how much it would be to play one of your movies to the public? Say they're desperate and only charge you $50... Advertise it online or word of mouth, say $5, and get 20 people, and you break even. But also get people to see something you love that might have gone under the radar.
You could save theaters. Or cinema itself. Why do you have to be confined to new movies? Maybe a revisiting or a new discovery?

actually, I do remember one place that would have this weekly event, movies on public domain - and there are many great ones.
