I’m not talking strictly in terms of films. I mean generally speaking. Which Marvel property do you most enjoy on its own?
For me, this would probably be a cliched answer, but I’d say mine is Spider-Man. He’s the only Marvel hero who I’ve been particularly invested in.

I got on a Marvel Zombies kick for a while, but I'm with you, probably Spider-man is the stand out IP (in all forms)

X-Men the Animated Series. Along with Spiderman and Batman, the 90s were a great time to watch Fox cartoons.

X-Men the Animated Series. Along with Spiderman and Batman, the 90s were a great time to watch Fox cartoons. They nail a few things: Everyone still has the Theme Song in their heads, they tried real hard to make Jubilee a thing, and the Sentinels sucked at their jobs.

Frankly, none of the 90s Marvel cartoons have aged particularly well, but the X-Men cartoon was certainly ambitious.

Batman TAS ages so well reference and tech-wise because they were smart and mixed 40's styling, art-deco, with modern tech at the time so it kinda all feels purposefully dated and modern at the same time. Almost timeless.

Yeah, even as a kid, I never cared for the Jubilee audience surrogate, but everything else is still great. And let's be honest: before Hugh Jackman, Cal Dodd was a generation's Wolverine.

Almost timeless. I don’t necessarily mean in terms of the technology displayed in the shows. I more so mean in terms of how the shows look and sound. The animation is fairly clunky, the voice acting can be a bit melodramatic and the background music can get a little obnoxious. I think the 90s Spider-Man cartoon in particular is a pretty bad offender in that regard.

I think the 90s Spider-Man cartoon in particular is a pretty bad offender in that regard. I can see that. In that regard Batman TAS is more subdued in it's drama. The voice acting is better too. X-men did lay on the melodrama. I like most of the voice acting, but can be a little stilted in some cases and over the top in others all using stereotypical accents. I can meet you have way on the animation style/execution. One they had to delay the first season on how many animation errors that had to be corrected for 1. They also went with a block shading of the comics. In still art work this comes off awesome. In animation not so much. Then there was the last season where they went with another cheaper animation house that exacerbated all the problems. I can forgive the music as it just feels nostalgic As for Spider-man I have in recent years binged all 3 Xmen, Batman, Spiderman and Spider-man's melodramatic angst driven plots while expected with the source material reaaalllly ages badly. Plus the mix of early 3-D cgi and 2-D really doesn't look good.

X-Men... because great writing & stories, even before the movies, cool characters & balance among them & their rogue's gallery.
It's a shame they didn't land into the Infinity Saga, the MCU golden era is now forever in the past.

Spider-Man easily.
Between the movies, the comics, the cartoon series and the video games he's by far my favourite.

Probably Spidey... But I love the Fantastic Four as well. Not the movies though, obviously.

Ghost Rider could have been really good. Unfortunately is sucked. But it had potential.
