He even runs in Jerry Maguire and in more than one scene. He doesn't just run away from action and people trying to catch him, he runs to class in movies and he randomly races people on foot in more than one movie.

moviemouth I only remember Brad Pitt eating that peanut butter in Meet Joe Black He eats in more than one scene in most of his movies. His character eating in the Oceans trilogy is a running joke.

It could have been one of his trademarks. Like how some actors always seem to be eating something in a scene or otherwise have some odd tick. I haven’t paid as close attention to something like that with Jack but now you’ve got me curious.

It would have to be something every writer of every movie was in on ... it's not like a Hitchcock cameo or Carol Burnette tuggng her ear as a "Hi Granny ! " Sleeping / waking up etc have to be written into the story.

Does he sleep in A Few Good Men ? Don't think he did, though he really didn't have much screen time. I'm not saying it's EVERY film that he ever appeared in, but it does seem to be something we see in many of them. I thought of another one, Something's Gotta Give. There's a whole scene where he and Diane Keaton have a long sleep after making love. Jack's character remarks that's the longest he has slept in years.
