Today kicks off the six weeks of the year that Americans give a crap (somewhat) about Horse Racing. No American Pharoah this year. Here's the nags you have to choose from www.drf.com/derby-watchMy trifecta (so you know which beast to steer clear of) 1. Irish War Cry 2. Battle of Midway 3. Classic Empire So make your mint Juleps, learn the words to My Old Kentucky Home and enjoy the most exciting two minutes in sports

Can you educate me on any of them? I cannot. I usually watch a couple of the Derby preps but I haven' caught a single race. The big favorite going into the season was Mastery but he got hurt and won't run. I'm just going by what I've read on the internet.

After watching them walk, McCracken looks good, and Always Dreaming has powerful legs.
My new order:
1. McCracken 2. Always Dreaming 3. J Boy's Echo

I should know never bet on the Irish.
I was the only person to have any love for Battle of Midway.
