Celts aren't doin' much this offseason are they?
In terms of trades, free agent signings, no big draft acquisitions
Players bolting.
Kind of depressing, eh?
They just maxed Tatum. I wanted Hayward to go, so not that depressing to lose him. Though I would like them to address their need for a quality big. Maybe if we lose enough guys, the Celts won't sweep your dysfunctional team out of the playoffs again? It's one of the reasons I love my team
We're always in the news
The 'Sexy' team in the Eastern Conference just like the Lakers in the West
Look at these moves - hired Doc, hired Morey, jettisoned Horford and his horrible contract and picked up 3&D Danny Green, jettisoned JRich and picked up one of the best 3 point shooters in the game in Seth Curry, got a steal in Maxey at #21 and a sharpshooter at #49 in Isaiah Joe - oh oh oh - then we signed Dwight Howard - just traded Zhaire last night.
Phhhhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwww.
I'm exhausted
Never ends around here
But that's what you get for being the 'Sexy' team - the attention goes with the territory I guess

Hawks sign Bogie to an offer sheet - 4 years around 70 mil or so
Bucks must be furious with this dude since they had a trade worked out but he didn't want to go there

Never dull around here
Happy your team can make it to the Conference Finals?
Oof
That's not even 2nd place in the entire league
Guess it doesn't take much to please you guys up there eh?

Happy to at least make it to a conference Final compared to getting swept out of the second round. I don't even know what place that is. It takes literally nothing to please you. Almost 40 years since your last title, two 'stars' that can't stay healthy or even lead their team to a conference final, one of who can't even shoot. Also somehow I missed the Tristan Thompson signing, so I feel better already. Congrats on 'being in the news,' it's a pretty low bar from a fan's perspective, but considering what your team has accomplished lately, I don't blame you for having the lowest expectations imaginable. Oof

And just think, the Celtics didn't even need him to sweep the Sixers out of the playoffs last year. We let Daniel Thiess do the honors.

Just look at the last few years -
Games Played 2017/18 - 53 2018/19 - 43 2019/20 - 57
9.4 career PPG

And? I said I liked the move, not that it made us title favorites. We need rebounding and defense, he provides that. We didn't need him to beat the Sixers, so I don't know what your angle is here.

You forgot the Oof. I'm not going to talk in circles defending Tristan Thompson's honor. He's a good player, I know that much. I'd rather have him on the roster than not at this point. Good luck staying in the news, that's obviously more important to you than winning.

Ibaka & Gasol move on from Toronto... colour me silly but losing two older bigs isn't going to lose me sleep. Two older bigs who also cost monies. I'm incredibly curious how we match up now with the Rapts
Ibaka and Gasol would always give Embiid and the Sixers fits
Gasol was Embiid's kryptonite - even when he appeared to be a shot player over the last couple of years
Baynes & Boucher will be getting bigs minutes now. Siakam will be all over the floor depending the opponent. I think Masai & Nurse are okay with that.

Do you have the clip of Embiid sprinting off the court after the Sixers lost that series 4-1?

Looks like the Lakers can basically sleepwalk their way to a repeat title as long as they stay reasonably healthy
