Nets destroy the Warriors spoiling Seth's return. I actually miss watching the dominant Steph/Klay 'Splash Brothers Warriors' - could be over Can't wait for all the Nets/Sixers clashes and watch Ben and Joel dominate, humble and embarrass Kyrie and KD

Tonight’s Thunder-Rockets game has been postponed.
Well, that was quick.

Looking forward to my hoops team playing tonight. Hoping for lots of shots and passes. Maybe some ‘D.’ The key to the game will be scoring points.

Guess who plays their first game tonight folks The Celtics. Thanks for asking. Will be interesting to see them play with Jeff Teague, who I believe was a really good pick up. I caught a few minutes of the exhibition game on TNT the other night. Basically all 3 possessions that I saw featured Jason Tatum playing by himself and missing shots. I'm really hoping this guy doesn't turn into a Kobe, but I think we're headed there. And my leash for Brad Stevens is much shorter these days. It's time this team takes the next step.

Magic 57 Heat 53 at the half. 23 turnovers so far. Butler continuing to get himself beaten up. But has 5 steals.

1-0 You're right, we are 1-0! Tonight we saw what's good and not so good about the Celtics. We saw a team clamp down hard on Giannis, distribute the ball all over on offense and build up a 17 point lead. Then we saw the same team totally fall asleep and allow Giannis to totally dice them up as the Bucks came back to lead late in the game. We saw Daniel Theis jacking up consecutive three point bricks in the last minute of the game, for some unknown reason. But then we also saw Jason Tatum bank in a 3 to basically win the game. I think with the additions of Teague and Thompson, the Celtics are a stronger team this year, especially when Kemba returns in a few weeks. The big problem is the weird lapses in energy and intelligence that seems to happen every game. You were talking about the Celtics, yes?

Also don't think we can expect Teague to play as well as he did tonight all season, but again I'll take it. It's a hell of a lot better than hoping you get something from Brad Wanamaker. Thompson is exactly what this team needed, if he can stay healthy, we've got a chance to make some noise.

Yeah, I like Tristan Thompson, the Celtics have needed help on the offensive boards for a long time. Good to have some muscle down low for a change. My favorite thing about tonight? The championship banners hanging right behind the baskets, genius move if you must play without fans there. I LOVE the idea of opposing players having the banners right in their face as they try to make big free throws down the stretch. Very cool move.

Headline I saw online:
Give me a break. It doesn't signify anything. It's regular-season basketball. It means almost NOTHING.

That guy is like 90 years old
What's this 2010?
When's the last time he played remotely close to an 82 game schedule?
There's a reason nobody wanted him - but hey - maybe he could be that 'Vet Presence' that is needed in the locker room - the glue right that teaches the young guns and shows them how to play the right way, eh fellas?

LOL.
You guys should have went after Steven Adams - you're right - you haven't had a respectable center since Parrish.

LaMelo 16 minutes, 0-5, 1 rebound, 3 TO, though he did have 3 assists and 2 steals and was +2. 11-42 shooting in his preseason games.
Westbrook 21-11-15 6 TO, lost (1 rebound, 1 assist in the 4th, -12) Ja Morant 18-27 44 points 1 TO, lost Rozier 15-23 42 points, lost Luka 27-8-5 1 TO, lost Booker 8 TO, won J. Murray 1-9 lost Lillard 4-12 9 Pts, lost Vucevic 2-8 on FTs, won Butler 7 steals, lost Myles Turner 8 blocks, won Gobert 29 Pts, 17 Reb, won Holmes 6 ORBs, won
Trae Young 10-12 37 points, only player in history to exceed 3 pts/attempt on 12 or more shots.
Giannis choked on game tying FG. It's one thing if it rims out, it's another to short-arm it and barely hit the bottom edge of the rim when you were 6 of 6 to that point. 7 TO as well.

People are typically celebrating Christmas on Christmas not watching hoops
The day after if for relaxation, loafing on the sofa and watching TV - we're blessed it's on a Saturday this year too
The NBA gave us a belated gift of -
Sixers At Knicks on the biggest sports stage in the World - Madison Square Garden
