Celtics take it on the chin in the 2nd half against the Nets. A total beatdown after a close and entertaining first half. As long as Kyrie stays happy and Durant stays healthy, the Nets are a real legit threat to win it all. Talented and deep. The Celtics have legitimate concerns on offense unless both Tatum and Brown are going off. There's very little in ball movement and offensive flow. Having Kemba back will help that, but it would help to fix it without him. would adding Harden help or hurt? |

Harden is an unbelievable scorer, but to me always seems to be more of a headache than he ought to be. Plus, what would the Celtics have to give up to get him? Would it be worth it? Is Harden gonna play that kind of suffocating defense that great Celtics players are known for? History says probably not. I wouldn't be all that opposed to seeing Harden in a Celtics uniform, I'm just not sure if it would lead us to a title. |

Will be interesting to see them play with Jeff Teague, who I believe was a really good pick up. I caught a few minutes of the exhibition game on TNT the other night. Basically all 3 possessions that I saw featured Jason Tatum playing by himself and missing shots. I'm really hoping this guy doesn't turn into a Kobe, but I think we're headed there. And my leash for Brad Stevens is much shorter these days. It's time this team takes the next step. They looked good tonight, though Tatum got lucky with that last shot. Hey, I'll take it. Also don't think we can expect Teague to play as well as he did tonight all season, but again I'll take it. It's a hell of a lot better than hoping you get something from Brad Wanamaker. I get we shouldn't expect him to put 12 ppg on a regular basis
But can we expect him to disappear completely like a ghost and put up O'fers?
So 6ppg maybe more like it?
I was just rather shocked at the bench production as a whole
It's like the team as a whole went home during halftime to celebrate Christmas
I think Kevin Garnett - oops - sorry - Tristan Thompson put up like 8 points too.......
