Unfortunately the story of my adult life. After 16, I started having sleep problems. I usually have no sleeping pattern (particularly since the lockdown as I can work from home anytime). There could be 5 continuous days in which I don't get more than 4.5 hours sleep. Which causes a lot of problem. Irritation, tiredness, anxiety etc. It does get fine once in a while but the problem recurs again and again. At least has since last 18 years. Do you mediate Aj? Even 15mins a day can make a big difference to make up for the lack of normal sleeping hours. Or even if you just lie in Shavasana pose for 15 - 20 mins and focus on the breath. This may ease the irritation you feel from not having slept. I don't think I have even ever tried to mediate, TC. I don't think I have ability to concentrate. If I watch a movie I see it by taking 15-20 breaks. Sports is the only thing that holds my concentration. I am unable to make up my mind firmly about anything and usually worry a lot. I am almost scared that I will not be able to sleep. If there is a disturbance in middle of sleep then I am unable to sleep again.

Concentration of sitting and breath and mind is something that needs to be practiced. Why don't you start of with 5mins, that is not a lot to ask and then you can see how you go and increase the time. Rome wasn't built in a day.
That's so hilarious. I didn't realise your typo and even I committed the same typo. When I wrote mediate even I meant meditate and didn't notice your typo. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/tek3suwt5/laugh.gif)

interesting. the only word my mind didnt immediatelt pick up on was simple. that one i had to intentionally focus on decoding.

hi aj ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/3tzwmtyu1/wave3.gif) i crave nine hours per night. I ususally get eight. But probably 3/7 of the week I get seven. Nine hours of sleep is my ideal amount as well! I love to sleep.

About 7–8.
I remember when I was 17 years old I went to bed at 10 p.m. after returning from a long flight not having slept the day before (so I was awake for over a day and a half), and did not wake up until 3 p.m. the following afternoon: so.. 17 hours’ sleep!
