10 years ago this would have excited me... but seeing how Disney has handled their movies lately has me worried. Willow is one of the biggest movies of my childhood, don't want them to mess it up.

10 years ago this would have excited me... but seeing how Disney has handled their movies lately has me worried. Willow is one of the biggest movies of my childhood, don't want them to mess it up. There's evidently a book series that focuses on the baby Elora Danan as a teenager. And it kills off the Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley characters right away in the first one. Just reading the brief wiki synopses they sound...strange.

I heard they might do it as more of an event series, rather than a two-hour film. That would be cool, give the characters more time to show what they've been through in 30+ years, how they've changed, ehat hasn't changed, plus allow all the character-interactions fans love. You figure Ranon and Mims are grown with kids of their own- same for Elora, Willow is an Elwin Sorcerer, and Madmartigan & Sorcha would be mostly retired from battlefields and may even have had kids of their own.
Side note: If they don't kill off any surviving actors, I wonder how they will explain Val Kilmer's current voice, or if they will blend old audio of his from older roles/interviews to give him back his voice? I don't say it yo be mean cause I sm super excited he's possibly coming back.
