I still don’t know why studios won’t use the Rock as a Schwarzenegger-type to make lighthearted R-rated action movies. Get the right director and it could be amazing.

But who knows, maybe this one will be as gruesomely cartoony as that Six Underground was. 6 Underground is so ridiculously good. If it comes even close to how fun that one was I’ll be impressed.

They could have Johnson star in a Hugo Chavez biopic though. A tranny action movie might work though.

More likely he just chooses not to. His core audience are one that couldn't see an R-Rated film. His "humourous" R-Rated films - Pain & Gain and Baywatch - didn't exactly set the box office on fire.
