I think we saw Darby O'Gill and the Little People on a field trip to a movie theater. Vague memories of that. And or some movie about a lion. I remember we watched Spartacus, Shogun, Gallipoli in elementary school, we watched One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as well as read the book and the teacher got in trouble for it.
On our own, we brought in Robocop and watched it at noon hour.

Wow, what schools were some of you going to where you got to sit around and watch 20 movies a year? Apparently, I missed out, we had to actually study and learn at the schools I attended.
My 4th grade class did have a field trip to see Ghandi in the movie theater when it was first released, but other than that, I don't remember watching many films while actually at school.

Dont remember the years just remember where I saw them.
Primary School - Lion King, Wallace & Gromit Grand Day Out, Wrong Trousers and Close Shave, The Battle of Bubble and Squeak, Bugsy Malone, Aladdin, The Santa Clause, Babe probably more but I don't recall, my final year in primary school we had funday fridays which meant after lunch on friday the last 2 lessons of the day were fun periods we could choose what to do as a class, so we could watch a movie or TV show, play games, do art even try our hand at baking if we wanted, I know we watched a movie atleast once a month but for the life of me I don't remember most of them.
Secondary School - Philadelphia, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Of Mice And Men, The Great Escape, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Romeo & Juliet, Fellowship of The Ring, Toy Story, we saw more I just don't recall them, English we always had atleast one book a year we would watch the movie of, and last day of term each year was pretty much a double feature of movies, same for last day before X-Mas holidays, we would watch a X-Mas movie then have out Form's X-Mas party or vice versa...for some reason they never took my suggestion of Die Hard seriously, it's a X-Mas movie after all but they refused to see it the philistines.

I remember watching "Caligula" at a Latin club party in high school. It was the R-rated version, but still.
Our teacher was pretty cool.
In college I took a film studies course and for our big paper we got to pick a movie to base our thesis on. I wrote about the sexual objectification of the male, post WW2 and for the movie I chose to show "Heat", with the oh so gorgeous Joe Dallessandro as the emblem of the objectified male. My professor was such a priss and complained about having to look at naked Joe. Well, she was the one who approved my topic and movie!

I have no idea how some of you remember the dozens of movies you watched in school 20 or 30 years ago. That's crazy.

We never watched nearly that many movies. Granted I went to school at a fairly poor school district but still.
The ones I remember:
Early years:
Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure (watched this towards Christmas Break, I guess our teachers didn't want to do anything)
High School
Becket (world history class) Alexander the Great (same)
Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (Government class) Romeo and Juliet (English class) Tucker (Economics class) Back to the Future (in German) German
There might be others, but all of that was pre 1995 so I don't remember too well.
